I’m Eli Hitz. I own E&H Bookkeeping Co., and I do every client’s books myself — start to finish, every month.
I’ve run my own business for years. I know what it’s like to be good at the work and still not know what the month made.
The part that matters
You get me. Every month.
The person who keeps your books is the person who picks up.
- The same person in your accounts every month. Nobody rotates onto your file.
- Ask me anything about your numbers, whenever it comes up. I’m not counting your questions.
- No account manager, no support queue, no ticket, no handoff to whoever is free.
- I know your business, not just your file, so you never explain it twice.
- Your tax preparer deals with me direct and gets a straight answer.
Why I do this
Small businesses get treated like the bottom of the list.
You pay a firm and get handed to somebody you have never met. Months later a report shows up explaining what already happened. Questions go into an inbox and die there.
An owner should be able to open one page and know where the business stands — and know the person who built it well enough to call him.
So that is the business. One person, a clean set of books, and somebody who actually answers.
I’m not a CPA — I only do the books, so you’re not paying CPA rates for bookkeeping. And your CPA deals with me instead of you, which makes it feel like one firm without costing like one.
I don’t prepare tax returns and I don’t give tax advice. I keep your books right and hand your preparer a clean file.
